Hydroseeding
A thick new lawn for a lot less than sod
We spray seed, mulch, fertilizer and tackifier across prepared soil in one pass. The mulch holds moisture against the seed, and the tackifier keeps it in place through an East Texas downpour. On a big lot it is the most cost-effective way to a full lawn, and on a bare slope it starts fighting erosion the day it goes down.

How fast can you start?
Most jobs begin within 1 to 3 days after you approve the estimate, depending on the scope and the weather.
How long until a hydroseeded lawn turns green?
In warm weather, seedlings usually show within one to two weeks. With steady watering it can reach full cover in about 60 days, and it takes about a year to be fully established. Full guide.
Is hydroseeding cheaper than sod?
Yes. Per square foot it costs considerably less, and the gap grows with the size of the area. Sod gives you a finished lawn on day one, while hydroseeding takes a few weeks.
When is the best time to hydroseed in East Texas?
Late spring into early summer, once the soil is warm. Warm-season grass seed germinates best between 70 and 95 degrees. In late fall and winter we can hydromulch bare ground for erosion control or seed annual ryegrass as temporary cover, then seed the permanent lawn in spring.
When is the best time to lay sod here?
March to May is strongest for Bermuda. September to early November suits St. Augustine and Zoysia. We install year-round, and we will tell you if waiting gives a better result. Full guide.
My yard holds water. Do I need a French drain?
Sometimes the fix is a downspout extension or regrading instead, which costs far less. We will say so if that is the case. Full guide.

Yes. Daily tidy-ups and a full cleanup at the end are standard on every job.
Is there a contract?
Lawn plans are month-to-month. Project work is scoped with a simple written agreement.
